MAGISTRATE
Geeta Chandan yesterday refused bail to a 26-year-old
man charged with forcing a six-year-old boy into an
unnatural sex act.

Chandradat
Jagdeo, of Lot 126 Main Street, Cumberland, is alleged
to have committed the offence between September 23 and
October 10 in East Canje.
At
New Amsterdam Court, in Berbice, as well, the accused
was remanded to prison until November 11, when he will
make his next appearance at Reliance Court, East Canje,
too.
